wysiwyg Dongle Update Utility
All dongles currently in the field must be tested using the wysiwyg Dongle Update Utility to check if they support our new security system. Dongles which were updated for R23 are valid and can use later Releases. Dongles which have not been updated must run this utility to validate and if necessary update their dongles before running later Releases.
For USB dongles that do support the new dongle security, an online process is available that updates your dongle to run R23 and later Releases. An "Update Code" will be emailed to you and when pasted in the wysiwyg Dongle Update Utility your dongle will be updated. |

For those USB dongles that our utility determines do not support the new security, customers must contact CAST Software with their error message. When contacting CAST Software, please include the following:
| |
1. Your Dongle's Serial Code
2. A screenshot of the error message displayed
3. Specify preferred shipping address
Provided that you are a Member in good standing, a replacement dongle will be shipped to you with the wysiwyg Dongle Replacement Utility, which will transfer the license from your old dongle to the new replacement dongle

All Parallel dongles became obsolete with R23, so if you have a Parallel dongle and you are a Member in good standing, it must be exchanged by contacting CAST Software for a new USB dongle. The Parallel dongle must be shipped back to us to receive the new USB dongle. |

IMPORTANT: DOWNLOAD AND RUN THE wysiwyg DONGLE UPDATE UTILITY BEFORE RUNNING WYSIWYG > RELEASE 23 AND LATER.
The wysiwyg Dongle Update Utility will validate your dongle to ensure it can be updated with the new security system contained
in wysiwyg Release 23. To execute this dongle test, your computer must be connected to the Internet with the dongle plugged
into the computer, as information on the dongle will be sent to CAST Software for its validation.
