More than just smoke and mirrors -- wysiwyg sheds a whole new light on virtual reality.
Building on CAST Software’s comprehensive wysiwyg, R22 comes packed with many new enhancements. The most glamorous is our new 3D beams. Continuing to build on changes made to wysiwyg in 2007, our 3D Team will replace each part of our live beam simulation during 2008. The first phase of this project is included in R22 which features softer beams, enhanced flares, stunning colour mixing and animated, life-like smoke.
On the drafting front, we have enhanced 3D primitives. Look for the new Cones on the Draw Menu and for the improvements to Cylinders and Spheres. You may notice some minor changes to the user interface. But underneath, there have been some major architectural upgrades. In fact, we plan to release some significant advancements in the user interface in R23 which we expect to be out later this year.
